Manya plays the role of a typical south Indian girl role in the film. No modern outfits. Similar to what I have done in 'Varsha' my first Kannada film as for as the costumes are concerned. The role is quite different. I am extremely happy to work in this film. She intends to do a Sharukh Khan role in 'Darr' or Kajol role in 'Gupth' in the forthcoming days.
As of now she has finished the role of a journalist in a Malayalam film opposite Kalabhavan Mani. Another Malayalam assignment she attended the shoot for 12 days in London.

is wedding bells for Manya. Actress Manya is getting married later this month. The groom is Satya Patel, a US citizen now working with Swiss Re. Patel is the vice president of the re-insurance company Swiss Re.
The wedding will take place in Chicago on the 31st of this month.
Manya has acted in several Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films.
Her films include Shashtri, Ambi, Preethi, Aparichitan, One Man Show, Kaathara etc. In Telugu, Many acted in Ravi Chavali's film 'College'.
Actress Maanya and producer Mohan Das Pai are yet to resolve their dispute. Pai and his wife feel that Maanya is lying with the intention of defaming their production company.Maanya has been blaming that the producer of Ee Preethi Ontara, Mohan Das Pai had forced her to wear revealing dresses though she had been acting in decent roles only. She also blamed that the producer has not settled her hotel bills and the air fare and thus has cheated her.
